They do not call it the “master bedroom” for
nuthin’! Failure to
promote the flow of positive chi in the “boudoir” can quickly
relegate both you and your partner to a life of “energetic slavery”
in the form of bad luck, financial problems and a lack-luster
romance! Along with
the front door and the kitchen stove, the master bed shares equal
status as one of the 3 “life pillars” within the home where
vigilant feng shui upkeep is paramount. With the following nine “Guru
approved” tips and a few quality cures from the shelves of Creative
Medicine, you will be well on your way to re-claiming your “master
bedroom mojo”…Yeah Baby!!!:
Your bedroom was meant for two things (and two
things only!) – rest and romance! Consider removing or at least
minimizing the use of television sets, telephones or anything else
that might detract from your participation in either of the two
previously mentioned ”Guru approved” bedroom activities.
Never! Ever!...Ever, ever, ever!!! Have a water
feature (not even a picture or painting of water) in the
bedroom.
If you are single and looking for that special
someone, a helpful cure is to place a nightstand on either side of
the bed. The presence
of this second nightstand symbolically invites your soulmate to
park his/her shoes next to it.
Changing the color of your sheets can be a
powerful way to help manifest your desires into existence. Pink for love, red for
passion, yellow for health and purple for wealth.
It is of the utmost importance that your bed be
in the “commanding position”, meaning that while lying in bed, you
have an unobstructed view of the bedroom door. If moving your bed into such a
position is not feasible, use mirrors to make the doorway
visible.
Beds with metal frames such as brass beds may
surround your body with a distorting magnetic field. Dowse with a pendulum to
determine whether or not the field is affecting you in a negative
manner. You can then
hang a faceted crystal above the bed to transmute this low energy
into auspicious chi.
Charge the yang energy of your bedroom with a
selection of crystals that represent the fire element such as rough
ruby, garnet, red jasper, carnelian, red tiger’s eye and rose
quartz.
Other crystals that work well in the bedroom
include: hematite for
protection, lepidolite to prevent nightmares, sodalite to cure
insomnia and aventurine to balance yin and yang energy.
One of the most important images of Feng Shui
as it applies to the bedroom is the red phoenix. Alone, the phoenix represents the
element of fire, but when paired with the dragon they become the
ultimate celestial couple. Display them together to
symbolize marriage, love and fidelity.
